Sir Victor Uwaifo now joins HyperTek Digital with 2face Idibia Dammy Krane and Rocksteady. The signing was announced on November 30, 2013 at Club Rumours, Ikeja

After several months of speculation Veteran Nigeria musician , song writer, musical instrument inventor, sculptor Victor Uwaifo, as officially signed to 2face Idibia, HyperTek Digital Record. Early hours of today HyperTek Digital Record Boss 2face Idibia, broke the news out at the  Club Rumours, Ikeja, Lagos.

The details of the signing was disclosed and Victor Uwaifo, will be releasing music under label act very soon. Uwaifo, had his hit song ‘Guitar Boy” in the year 1966. Uwaifo, once served as commissioner for arts and culture in Edo State,  under the leadership government of Lucky Igbinedion. He will now joining the likes of Pop singer  Dammy Krane and dancehall act artiste Rocksteady, as the official artiste under the label.

To belong to the artistes in HyperTek is my joy. I have the propensity to change. If you say it’s Jazz, I’ll play Jazz. If you say it’s Hip-Hop, I’ll play it‘, Uwaifo said at the unveiling.

My manager and I Efe Omorogbe, we’ve been talking about it for quite some time and we just decided to go for it. Sir Victor Uwaifo was really forthcoming and he was down with the idea and here we are today‘, 2face explains the reasons for the signing.
