About few weeks ago, ace comedian and event host Julius Agwu, declares his intention to run for governorship post in his home town Rivers State, many people don’t see it coming.
However few weeks, after he declares his intention to run for governorship post in Rivers State, report suggested that he was drop out the political race.
His management team also stated that he was dropped out of the political race due to his friendship with the present Governor, Rotimi Amaechi.
In latest interview with one of Nigeria daily newspaper Punch, Ace comedian, event host, author Julius Agwu, reveals his intention not to run for any political post in 2015.
“the reason is that I really want to concentrate on my career. I think I am going to forget about politics for now and focus on my career”.
Julius Agwu has been in the entertainment industry in Nigeria for decades and he is known as an author, comedian, singer, actor, compere and more.
He added,
“My people have asked me to drop my ambition because of a zoning arrangement within the PDP to produce the next governor of Rivers State from the riverine tribes.”
