Ex-NSA Sambo Dasuki, Arms Deal Saga

The $2.1 billion arms deal mismanagement funds alleged by the former Nations Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki, is currently major shake fight by President Buhari, for his anti-corruption war.

Popular online news platform Sahara Reporters , allegedly declared that some leading Nigerian newspaper received whopping N10M each from the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki through the chairman and publisher of ThisDay, Nduka Obaigbena.

The online news platform Sahara Reporters further revealed the list of Nigerian newspaper such as ThisDay, Vanguard, Sun, The Nation, Daily Trust, People’s Daily, Leadership, Daily Independent, Nigerian Tribune, Guardian Newspapers, Business Day, and New Telegraph newspaper, received a sum of N10 million each from the Office of the NSA.

The claimed by Sahara Reporters, further says that Obaigbena acted in his capacity as the chairman of Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

They further claimed that ex-NSA, Sambo Dasuki paid N670m to General Hydrocarbons Limited through leading commercial bank Guaranty Trust Bank account, adding that, the company is controlled by Nduka Obaigbena, and payment was for Energy Consulting.
