Davido Get Another Nomination for MTV EMA Best African Act 2014

The year 2014, Pop star Davido, reaping the fruit of his labour for his hard-working blueprint in his music career. Ever since the beginning of this year the name Davido, has being on our lips and the awards/recognition keep pouring in left, right and center.

About few moment ago, International urban music video MTV revealed the nominees for this year MTV European Music Awards 2014
#EMAs which will  held on 9th of November, at the SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland.

Our own  Davido, as expected, is once again nominated for the “Best African Act” award. Other nominees from african soil for the  “Best African Act” were Goldfish (South Africa), Diamond (Tanzania) and Toofan (Togo).

However the 5th nominees for that category is still up for grabs with Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Anselmo Ralph (Angola), Sarkodie (Ghana), Mafikizolo (South Africa), Gangs of Ballet (South Africa), Sauti Sol (Kenya), all vying for the Wildcard. To get Tiwa in, simply tweet #MTVEMA followed by #NominateTiwaSavage.

#DidYouKnow: Davido is also up for the “Artist of the Year” award at the upcoming Kora Awards 2014. The Cash-Prize for the winner in this category is… wait for it… $1 million! If my memory serves me right, only P-Square have won this award from Nigeria in the past.
