Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the incumbent president Gudluck Ebele Jonathan , put their much-publicized differences aside to discuss the way forward of Nigeria, precisely the solution to the insecurity of the nation.

Yesterday August 27, 2014 , Former president OBJ and GEJ met at state house in Abuja.

According to reports GEJ and OBJ discuss the security challenge that is rocking Nigeria, through the hand of northern Islamist terrorist group Boko Haram in the Northern part of the country.

In the past OBJ, is known to have connection with the Boko Haram sect and he took part in attempts to broker the release of the over 200 kidnapped Chibok girls in Borno State, on  April 14, 2014 by Boko Haram.

Chief Obasanjo said:

“Yes, I can confirm that I met with Mr. President on his invitation. In fact, he had wanted to come down to Abeokuta, but as a sign of respect to the Office of the President, I had to go. We had discussion on the country’s security issues and that is all,”

Obasanjo recently accused Jonathan of destroying the Nigerian middle class and running an administration very much like that of late dictator, Sani Abacha.
