The biggest and prestigious movie academy in African, tagged– Africa Movie Academy Awards, (AMAA), was held yesterday, at the oil-rich capital of Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State last night. The award ceremony was to celebrate movie practitioners and personalities in African Movie Industry.
Leading films maker and stars from African continent gathered together for biggest Movie Academy Awards in African. Musical performances from Nigeria Soul singers Timi Dakolo and Bez, Duo of High -Life singer J-Martins and Flavour, and comedian Funny Bone. Guests at the even include the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Hollywood Actor, Danny Glover.
The saddest moment yesterday, was for late Amaka Igwe, who die recently. while president of AMAA announced that she will stepping aside from her presidency post.
