The biggest and most prestigious music award in Nigeria, ” The Headies Awards 2014 ”, was held yesterday at the prestigious Eko Hotels &Sites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The awards ceremony was organizer to celebrate the deserving musicians under 1 year review calendar.
This year edition of The Headies Awards 2014, was hosted by popular screen diva and radio broadcaster Toke Makinwa alongside with hilarious comedian Basket Mouth, while there are musical performances from music acts such as Reekado Banks (performing his hit song ” Chop AM”), Harrysong, Lil Kesh ( performiing his hit song ”Shoki” ), Nikki Laoye, Oritse Femi( perofing his hit song ” Double Wahala”) , Kcee, Timi Dakolo ( performed alongside with his wife), Patoranking ,Tiwa Savage, Don Jazzy and P-Square all deliver electrifying performances to entertain the audiences.

The show was billed to kick-off 9:00 pm, but was later kicked off around 12:00 am. According to Gistyinka Correspondent at the event late yesterday reported that there is terrible sound problem, Seems to be an annoying delay as they might be no sound monitor in front of the stage.
The Headies Award pays a tribute to those entertainers that the music industry has lost over the past few years such as Kefee, Dagrin, MC Loph, Goldie, but forget Zara.
After several votes among Nigerians music lovers, here are you serving music acts that what to be celebrated in year 2014. The big winners of the day is Olamide, Davido, Patoranking winning 2 Awards each as others pick up 1 – 1 Each.
