Over the past few weeks, there are speculation of impeachment for Gov Murtala Nyako, but reality life have prevail this afternoon.
After session meeting with 7 man impeachment panel, 18 out of 24 house of assembly members voted out impeachment for Gov Murtala Nyako, for alleged of “gross misconduct,” of public offices.
According to Nigeria constitution –If the sitting governor is absent and also his deputy governor resigns from his post , the Speaker of the House has to become the acting governor of the state.
However deputy governor of the state, Bala Ngilari, who was also up for impeachment by member of the house, also submitted his own letter of resignation this morning. With this scenario Speaker of House of Assembly Ahmadu Fintiri, will be sworn in as the new governor of Adamawa State today.
