Dayna Childress Gave Birth to Quadruplets After Several Miscarriages
When a woman was about to give up trying for more children after three miscarriages, she discovered she was expecting quadruplets.
After less than a month of trying, Dayna Childress, 28, became pregnant with her first kid, Lincoln, in 2015.
She is a 29-year-old mother of five children. A very sporty first year with quadruplets! It tells the tale of a young woman from Ohio, USA, whose second pregnancy changed the path of her life completely.
Dayna Childress married her high school sweetheart and began a family at an early age. The couple welcomed their son Lincoln as their first child in 2015. Dayna and her husband thought it was time for their second child nine months after having their first so that the age gap between the two wouldn’t be too great. But for reasons she still isn’t sure of today, three pregnancies were “s” in a succession.
Dayna started going through this for a year before getting the positive news when it was finished. Finally, she was expecting not just one, two, but four babies! Lincoln now has four younger siblings: Willow, Willis, and three boys who were all born at or around 29 weeks and weighed between 1.3 and 1.4 kilograms each. Dayna has earned worldwide fame by sharing stunning videos on TikTok and Instagram that show the chaos that surrounds so many toddlers.
The busy stay-at-home mom recounts her day in one piece that stands out for its candor. Despite the fact that the routine seems familiar, the uncommon number of kids she looks after gives us a glimpse into how demanding her life must be.

She continues by outlining how the morning progresses, even though that would be enough to put anyone to sleep right away. She explains, “In the morning, my husband makes the coffee, and I make the kids’ food so it’s ready to go before they wake up. My wife and I rouse up my five-year-old, who assists us in waking up the quadruplets, but my husband has already left for work.
After that, everyone goes downstairs to change diapers, eat brunch, and play for a little while. Dayna gives the girls a snack, warms her “now-cold coffee,” and changes their clothes. She adds, “Usually there is a tantrum, and the house is destroyed.”
All this, and the day is only halfway over.
Dayna continues by saying that it is now time for naps and that she has a very small window of time before preparing supper. The children will then go downstairs for diaper adjustments and lunch, she adds. They play some more, we take them outside, and then they have another snack. At this point, they typically have another tantrum.
Dayna takes a well-planned shortcut when it comes to the evening meal, at least. I eat supper out because I’m too exhausted. After that, it’s over—at least until Dayna repeats the process the following day.
The video received a significant amount of feedback from TikTok users, garnering over 10,000 comments and about 830,000 likes. Many people simply could not fathom taking care of several infants. The family started going out more frequently as they grew, and the new vehicle was more roomy than the one they had been using when there were only three мeмers in the family. For the first few days, they had a full-fledged each day, and it was an adventure for them from the moment they departed the house until the moment they arrived home.
When Mrs. Childress became pregnant in December, she kept taking fertility medications for two additional menstrual cycles.
The couple was reportedly forewarned by doctors that the drug bears a 30% possibility of multiple pregnancies.
According to Mrs. Childress, “I was thrilled about that but even happier about quads.” The first ultrasound revealed four sacs, but we could only see two babies with beating hearts.
Simon weighed 3 lbs 2 oz (1.4 kg) when he was born, and the other three infants each weighed 2 lbs 14 oz (1.3 kg).
In order to increase awareness of infertility, Mrs. Childress is coming out.
“People have opened up about their own problems when they learn what we went through,” she said.
“Everyone keeps it a secret; it’s like we’re all too ashamed to talk about it, but that was what helped me get through it,” one person said. “You don’t realize how common infertility is.”
