Edge Records Debunk Rumours of Reminisce Existed from The Label

Reminisce new single '' Local Rappers '' did not have the logo of his label Edge Records.

Reminisce new single ” Local Rappers ” did not have the logo of his label Edge Records.

Few days ago Samsung and Origin brand ambassador Reminisce, drop new single titled ” Local Rappers ” featuring Olamide and Phyno.

The new track ” Local Rappers ” is first single from his forthcoming studio album titled ” Baba Hafusa”.

The covert art for the track did not indicate his record label ( Edge Records)  logo, the absences of his label record logo now insinuate his break up rumour from the label.

The art cover of his new single carry logo of LRR, a record label owned by Reminisce, tongues have started wagging and NET reached out to the boss of Edge Records, simply known as Ibrahim, to ascertain if all is well between both parties.

Responding, he said: ‘No (problem), not at all, Reminisce has been with us since 2009 and he’s still with us. It’s funny when people just say stuff like that, he is still with us and there’s no problems at all.’

NET investigations revealed that the case of Reminisce is like that of Chocolate City rapper, M.I Abaga (who is signed on to Chocolate city but also runs his own label, ‘Loopy Records’ on the side). In Reminisce’s case, he has been signed to Edge Records since 2009 but he also owns a record label of his own called LRR (Les Roses Rouges) and signed a singer known as Sojay in December 2014.
