This is bad news for millions of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West fans around the world.
In less down a month for the world to witness another power couple celebrity wedding of year 2014, between Kim Kardashian and Kanye may not hold anymore as already plan.
The French law requires a 40-day residency requirement prior to ANY wedding in their country, which means that none of them have these requirement.
According to Radar Online, The French Embassy in Washington D.C. further advised:
“All marriages must be performed by a French civil authority before any religious ceremony takes place. The mayor can authorize the deputy mayor or a city councilor to perform the ceremony in the town in which one of the parties to be married has resided for at least 40 days preceding the marriage. These requirements CANNOT be waived.”
According to close source to the Kardashian’s family revealed out that, “Kim and Kanye were unaware until recently that France required a residency requirement prior to the marriage. Kanye West, has an apartment in Paris, but he doesn’t live there full-time.”
Their wedding was supposed to hold on May 24, 2014.
