Sony Music/RCA Records act and DMW boss Davido continues to win in big stage, as he wins the ” Best Africa Act “ category at this year edition of MOBO Awards 2017.
The serial hits singer wins the category ahead close rival Wizkid, alongside Mr. Eazi, Maleek Berry, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Juls, Wande Coal and others.
This feat comes as another achievement to his successful 12 months calendar year, where four singles that he released during the year were hit back to back. In another new Davido is also part guest artiste headline for this year edition and will be sharing stage with Cardi B, Jay-Z and others.
This latest success made him becomes first African Artist to have won the MTV EMA, BET Award and MOBO Award for Best African Act and also the MTV EMA for Best Worldwide Act ALL TOGETHER.

Davido joins 2Baba and D’banj, as the only African Artists to have won in the Best African Act categories at the MTV EMAs, BET Awards and #MOBOAwards COMBINED.
