Malmo striker Mohamed Buya Turay missed his own wedding after the club requested he joined the squad earlier.
Mohamed Buya Turay, a striker at Swedish club giant, Malmo, reportedly missed his own wedding because the team wanted him to report sooner.
The 27-year-old has joined the Swedish team after spending time with Hebei China Fortune and Henan Songshan Longmen in the Chinese Super League.
Malmo traveled to the city to make the transfer announcement on July 22, but his nuptials is believed to have taken place in Sierra Leone on July 21.

Malmo wanted him to connect with his teammates more quickly, but Turay had to arrange for his brother to attend the wedding of his girlfriend Suad Baydoun as he couldn’t be in two locations at once.
Turay admitted that the three photos of himself and his new wife that were posted on his social media accounts were really shot before the event.

Although they are planning a honeymoon later this year, he hasn’t actually been with his wife since they got married.
Turay told Afton Bladet, “We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone.
However, Malmö urged me to arrive here earlier, so I wasn’t there.
The photos were been taken before. So, although it appears that I was there, I wasn’t. I had to have my brother stand in for me at the wedding.
But I’ll make an effort to bring her to Sweden and Malmö right away so that she may be near me. She and I will reside here.
On Thursday, Turay made his Europa League debut for Malmo, making an appearance off the bench in a 3-0 victory over Diddeleng.
His Allsvenskan victory in 2019 while on loan at Djurgrdens IF, where he also finished as the league’s top scorer, gave him experience playing in Sweden.

Turay, who has a small daughter from a previous relationship, made news a few years ago when he asserted that black magic caused an injury he sustained while serving his country after winning the Golden Boot.
“I trod on a spiritual object at Leone Stars camp that was placed there for me by a person who wanted me to have elephantiasis so that it would ruin my career,” the native doctor told me after I injured my toe.
She further told me that if I had gone to the hospital for treatment or had used conventional medicine to try and heal the toe that would have ended my career.”
