According to latest ranking report of 100 Most Influential people’s in African in Arts & Culture by New African — Rate African and nigeria finest beat maker Don Jazzy, Pop singer P-Square, Nollywood actress and Diva Omotola Jalade Ekeinde and award wining novelist writer Chimama Adichie were all named among 100 Most Influential people in African2013.
According to the based of the ranking list by New African Magazine says that — One yardstick we used was to emphasise that influence is not about popularity and popularity is not always influential. The influencer’s impact on public, social and political discourse, however, is what largely helps us determine their influence.
While others on the lists are Ghanian/USA actor Idris Elba, Sudanese Supermodel star Alek Wek, Nigerian/UK actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, Senegalese actor Omar Sy ,South African comedian Trevo Noah and South African fashion mogul, Precious Moloi-Motsepe were all on the lists for this year edition.
