Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Crown as New Ooni of Ife

The new Ooni of Ife, was crowned yesterday, in Ile Ife.

After several weeks of spiritual sacrifices, the 40 years old, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi , was crowned the new Ooni of Ife, in coronation ceremony held yesterday in Ile Ife.

The coronation ceremony have the presence of Vice-President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, Former president Olusegun Obasanjo, Former Governor of Lagos-State and APC National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Akinwumi Ambode, Governor Ibikunle Amosun , Governor Rauf Aregbesola ,Olu of Warri, Sultan of Sokoto and others dignitaries in our society.

The Ooni of Ife, is regarded as one of the most influential monarch in Nigeria and as the most influential monarch amongst Yoruba people.
