According to photos reports by Channelstv — says that President Gudluck Jonathan as write to the both the House of Representatives and the Senate about the postponement of 2013 budget presentation today as earlier scheduled.
In a written letter delivered by president media spoke man — While the letter was first address by Senate President David Mark– there is a need for both chambers to harmonize the Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Financial Strategy Paper before the presentation”.
The letter further said “in the circumstance, it has become necessary to defer the presentation of the 2014 budget to a joint session of the National Assembly until such a time when both respected chambers would have harmonised their positions on the MTEF” hoping that “it will be in the shortest possible time”.
