President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan

Still on the matter… I can see that Mr president is making Nigeria of his own. Barely about few weeks ago now Mr President signed into law for prohibited of same sex marriage in our society but this time around is death penalty for anybody caught of  cyber crimes.

Mr president is proposing on bill at a time, Death Penalty for Cyber Crimes  ”Cyber Crime Bill 2013” has being passed into the House of Representatives in Abuja.

“Whoever hack into the Critical National Information Infrastructure or computer networks resulting in the loss of lives”. Punch reports.

If the offender causes grievous body injuries to another person, the bill states that he/she will be sentenced to 15 years in prison. But using any computer network for terrorism attracts life sentence.

The bill will also criminalizes child pornography (a 10-year jail term or a fine of N 20 Million or both) and forcing children to engage in sexual activities (a 10-year jail term or a fine of N 15 Million).
