Nigeria pop singer, United Nation and Imo State Ambassador Peace Adokiye, has caused another buzz social media and international scene by offering her virginity to the Northern Islamist Terrorist Group Boko Haram, in exchange for over hundreds of abducted girls in Chibok, Borno State, Nigeria.
Her statement as being making rounds in various Nigeria Blogs, but the so-called Publicist Stunt by me has being generated buzz in various international main stream media sites such as Daily Mail & The Independent UK have both covered the story of 23-year-old Adokiye’s virgin offer to Boko Haram.
Today marked 72nd Days for the missing girls, despite international pressure for their safety return – which including the Nigeria celebrities and international celebrities stars endorsed #BringBackOurGirls on social media campaign, which also backed by Michelle Obama and David Cameron, among others influential personality figures.
Adokiye, says she wishes she could be exchanged for the schoolgirls, That she would sleep with 10-12 men a night if she had to. The offer has been called both brave and a publicity stunt on Twitter.
Last week popular daily newspaper Vanguard, reported the story that Adokiye, is offering her virginity for the safety of the abducted girls.
This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what could be happening to them. It is just unfair. They are too young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange. They are between 12 and 15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents.
However the international media sites were attracted to this cheap publicity stunt by placing it in the site front page. In another noted Boko Haram, is still yet to respond to this request.
