Back in the days, precisely Dec 2009, pop star Wizkid, signed 5 years recording deal with Banky W‘s led Empire Mate Entertainment (EME) label.
Ever since then ,pop star Wizkid, has grown from rising star to become international superstars within 4 and half years of his existent in naija music industry.
Sometimes last year Wizkid, started growing wings and also decide to work away from his contract with EME, but the issue was later solve underground through some intervention from both team and was the issue was later resolved amicably.
About few weeks ago, veteran broadcaster Olisa Adibua, had a chat with Wizkid, on his online interview programme ”The Truth” and pop star reveal out that his recent album” Joy” will be his last album under imprint of EME.
About few days ago, pop star Wizkid, tweeted his speculated exist from EME camp.

Wizkid, will fully be in charge of his label ” StarBoy ” which have acts such as UK-based producer Maleek Berry, L.A.X, duo of music producer Legendary Beats and others.
Early this year EME, part ways with one of their act Skales, in a controversial manner.
