Rihanna RIAA Awards

American pop singer Rihanna have something to celebrate. After her latest album ” ANTI ” topped the billboard 200 chart, the ” Work ” crooner has achieved another major milestone for her illustrious career.

The Roc Nation act Rihanna made a history by becoming first and only artist in RIAA Gold & Platinum history to be certified with 100 million song awards. She the first music artist to earn 100 millions song award.

Happily and grateful Rihanna celebrate her milestone awards and also thanks her fans for helping her achieved the honour.

The bad girl RIRI latest album ” ANTI ” earned its platinum certification shortly after it was released on Jan. 27. In just 14 hours, the album pulled downloading of more than 1 million times through a free offer made possible by RiRi’s Samsung partnership. While those downloads helped her earn this award, they were not counted by Nielsen.

In any case, Rihanna is still putting in “Work.” Her Drake-assisted single reached No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. And as mentioned, ANTI was at the top of the Billboard 200 with 166,000 units sold in its first full week of availability.

She will be performed at Grammy Awards 2016, on Feb. 15, alongside with Adele, Kendrick Lamar and other before heading to the U.K. for the BRIT Awards on Feb. 24. Two days later, she will embark on her “ANTI World Tour” in San Diego.
