Over the past few weeks now reports as surface online that Nigeria prolific music video director Peter Clarence, copied concept ”Eminado” video by Marvin Record first lady Tiwa Savage and her record label boss Don Jazzy, song. More exposed about the video from done by NET.
Early January of this year Peter Clarence, was accused by South African rapper Tumi Molekane, for stealing his video concept ‘Asinamali’ and using it on Nigeria Afro pop diva Tiwa Savage’s Eminado video.
The reports caught attending of Tiwa Savage’s Husband & Manager, Tee Billz, for alleged copyright infringement on the Eminado video. In loving reply way Tee Billz, acknowledges copyright infringement on Clarence Peters part. He said
We were just as surprised as everyone else. We never knew the concept was adopted from another video. It’s quite embarrassing for him.
He further went ahead to throw jam on the south African singer Tumi Molekane, subtle shade in the same conversation with NET when he said
‘I mean, he released his own video three years ago and has only 80,000 views but Tiwa, under three months, has over a million.’
