The Presidency on Wednesday has reacted to the explosive letter written by former Nigeria President Olusegun Obasanjo, stressing out that Nigeria is doing better under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration than previous governments.
The presidency reacted to the letter claiming that the former president Olusegun Obasanjo is too busy to notice Buhari‘s achievements. In that explosive letter, OBJ criticized Buhari’s government and urging him not to re-contest in the 2019 general election.
At the briefing State House correspondents at the end of the Federal Executive Council meeting chaired by President Buhari, the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, listed some achievements of the administration, which he said are better than those of past administrations.
He also noted that the former President might have been too busy to take note of the achievements being recorded under Buhari.
While stating that the Buhari’s administration is equal to the task of giving the desired leadership for the nation, he said that the government is determined to end the herdsmen/farmers clashes in the country.
