Former Minster of Defense and one of the strong northerners leaders Theophilus Danjuma , on Wednesday, stated that if the late leader of the Biafran Civil War, Chukwuemeka Ojukwu , could have conceded defeat easily just like President Gooodluck Ebele Jonathan, did at just concluded 2015 presidential election, then bloodshed could have reduced during the civil war.
The former minster of Defense Theophilus Danjuma , said this when President Jonathan,, made a courtesy visit to his home residence in Abuja.
“The outcome of the election and the manner in which President Jonathan conceded victory to Buhari, is total un-African, it is very important in the history of Africa. Ojukwu did the same after the fall of Enugu, if he had conceded victory to the federal troops he would have saved the nation one full year of bloodshed.
President Jonathan has set a record, made history, something to be emulated by the rest of Africa and indeed the whole world,” he said.
