One of Nigeria’s leading music blog Jaguda.com, music editor, and Nigerian music journalist Idoko Victor Salihu, better known as DJ Ruffee or Jaguda Pikin tie the nuptial knots with his adorable girlfriend Manya Lar, on the 5th of September, 2020.
One of Nigeria music blogger DJ Ruffee, weds his wife, Manya Lar who is now Manya Idoko Salihu at a colorful wedding ceremony, which was graced by friends and family. According to sources, both newly wedded couples met on the 7th of September 2018, at the groom’s birthday party.
The bride further explained that it was fate that brought them together. “We met in 2018 on the 7th of September actually makes it 2 years Today. He is my birthday mates & family friends with one of my best girls. I like to think it was fate.”
THE PROPOSAL
The proposal was not what a lot of ladies would have expected. According to Mrs. Salihu, she screamed a bit.
“He proposed to me in his family house, in the presence of his parents and siblings. I mean we had talked about getting married and I honestly didn’t think he could surprise me
. But alas he shocked me, I am ashamed to admit I screamed a little (just tintili o
).”
A TALE OF TRUE FRIENDSHIP
“He is focused, very intelligent, super hardworking, he loves God & he has a teachable spirit (this was one of my major criteria for a life partner),” she spoke kind words about her husband.
From the groom, he explained why it was important to marry your friend. He says his wife (Manya) is not only beautiful on the inside but also on the outside.
“I’ve always heard people emphasize the importance of marrying ’your friend’ and I’m beginning to understand why it’s a pertinent argument.
“Manya’s ability to let herself grow, the effort she puts into this relationship, her maturity, and how she doesn’t judge me, among other qualities draws me intensely to her.
“She’s not only beautiful on the outside, but she’s also beautiful inside too,” he said.
