Davido’s 5ive Alive Tour ran for ten months, from July 2025 to May 2026. The useful question now is what the tour’s route tells us about his international reach—and what the public numbers can and cannot tell us about the business behind it.
The 42-date tour began at the Kia Forum in California on July 11, 2025, and ended with two shows in Conakry on May 9, 2026, according to Music In Africa. It crossed four continents, with stops in North America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The schedule shows the range of markets Davido reached; it does not, on its own, show the tour’s profit or how much revenue reached the artist.
The tour supported his fifth studio album, 5IVE, and brought the project to audiences across several regions. A long international schedule can help an artist maintain visibility between releases, but the public itinerary alone cannot establish whether each market was profitable or how much the tour contributed to later releases.
That distinction matters because touring is where Afrobeats stops being a streaming story and becomes a physical business: tickets, promoters, venues, sponsors, local audiences and repeat demand. A long international run only works when those pieces are already moving in the right direction.
The Davido 5ive Alive Tour Numbers Matter More Than the Poster
The tour’s Nigerian leg included Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan, Enugu, Uyo and Yola, among other stops. Music In Africa reported that the domestic leg sold more than 100,000 tickets within three weeks, citing figures attributed to the tour. That is a reported ticket-sales figure, not a measure of profit; venue costs, promoter terms and the artist’s share were not disclosed in the report.
The Nigerian leg was promoted as a nationwide tour, with dates reported in cities including Uyo, Yola, Enugu, Ibadan, Abuja and Lagos. The route brought the tour to several regions of the country, though the schedule alone does not establish that every geopolitical zone was covered or allow a comparison of demand across cities.
Uyo — you proved nothing stops love 🌧🧡 Thank you for rocking with me through the rain and making it another unforgettable night 🙏🏾🔥 YOLA, we’re up next this Wednesday, Oct 29th! #5iveAliveTour 001 🇳🇬https://t.co/y61YZT6ijm pic.twitter.com/LLk4pQH85O

The tour also included major venues such as State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, BK Arena in Kigali and Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Venue capacities are not ticket sales, and I could not verify a single consolidated public figure showing that the tour sold more than 300,000 tickets across all dates.

I’m blessed to perform all around the world, and everywhere I go-Nigeria goes with me. But this time… I’m bringing it HOME.
After an unforgettable North American tour, it’s only right we bring that energy back where it all began. m 5IVE TOUR NIGERIA, y’all ready??!!

How 5IVE Connected Different Markets
5IVE dropped April 18 2025 and the feature list tells you everything about what Davido was actually building, Becky G for the Latin market, Shenseea for the Caribbean, Tayc and Dadju for French-speaking Africa, YG Marley for the reggae crossover audience, Odumodublvck for the streets of Lagos, Omah Lay for the younger Afrobeats generation, most artists build for one room and hope people from other rooms wander in, Davido built five rooms at the same time and then sent the tour to fill all of them, that’s not an accident, that’s a plan that took years to put together.
The North American leg, promoted by Live Nation, kicked off July 11 at the Kia Forum and was announced alongside the music video for Offa Me featuring Victoria Monét.” We shouldn’t forget his Madison Square Garden in April 2024, multiple sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena, and headlining Afro Nation, and you start to understand the scale of the infrastructure OBO has built.
The Davido 5ive Alive Tour European leg
In spring 2026, Davido completed a European run that included Vienna, Zurich, Rotterdam, Brussels, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Barcelona. He also made his Coachella debut on April 11 and returned for the festival’s second weekend on April 18. The booking gave him a high-profile US festival appearance, but one performance cannot by itself show how the festival evaluated demand or what commercial return it generated for him.
it’s where mainstream America decides what sounds it wants to absorb into its cultural consciousness, Burna Boy‘s Grammy win cracked that door open but Davido performing at Coachella in 2026 is a different kind of weight entirely. His 2020 album A Better Time had already shown the blueprint — Holy Ground featuring Nicki Minaj, Shopping Spree featuring Chris Brown and Unavailable from Timeless became a TikTok phenomenon with over 100 million video views.”

The Tour’s Route Across Regions
Davido also appeared at Soundstorm in Riyadh in December 2025 and performed in Dar es Salaam in 2026. Festival-wide attendance estimates do not establish how many people watched an individual artist’s set, and the available public figures do not provide a comparable attendance or revenue measure for every stop on the tour.

The tour’s later dates took Davido through Europe and southern Africa before the run concluded in Conakry in May 2026. With the tour now complete, the more useful questions are how demand differed by market and which stops produced repeat bookings. Public reporting does not yet provide a consistent set of figures to answer those questions across the full tour.
What the Tour Reveals About Davido’s Audience
Venue capacity alone cannot show how committed an audience is. To compare demand across the tour, we would need ticket sales against available capacity, merchandise sales, repeat attendance and the artist’s settlement from each promoter. The public figures available for some stops offer a partial picture, not a complete measure of the fan base or its spending.
Davido has toured and released music consistently for more than a decade, but the tour schedule alone cannot establish why individual fans attend or how much of that demand comes from personal connection, promotion or local market conditions.

The thing about OBO that gets lost in the noise
Davido has built a career across recorded music, touring and high-profile international appearances since his early releases in 2011. He performed during the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, but the event’s overall television audience should not be treated as the audience for his performance. His career is better assessed through specific measures—ticket sales, chart positions, releases and confirmed partnerships—rather than bundling unrelated milestones into one claim.
What the Tour Reveals About Davido’s International Reach
The completed 5ive Alive Tour took Davido through North America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East, including his Coachella debut in April 2026. Those stops show the geographic spread of his live business, but they do not establish that every market was profitable or that each appearance produced repeat demand. The tour’s overall financial performance has not been publicly documented in a consistent, comparable breakdown.
Davido’s 2026 Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance for “With You,” featuring Omah Lay, added another international milestone, while the 5ive Alive Tour extended his live reach. Neither award recognition nor touring scale alone tells us the value of his catalogue or the profit from the tour; those questions require more detailed financial information.
