Fashion industry has really burst Nigeria economy over the past few years, according to business analyst and experts, while the industry itself have also attract more foreign investors into Nigeria.
Over the past few years, Fashion industry in Nigeria has wear a new look with the emergence of Lagos Fashion Week( recently sponsored by alcoholic drink Heineken ) , Africa Fashion Week Nigeria, Nigeria Fashion Week and many others.
But with all the innovative ideas bring together to sell the beauty of Africa culture to the world through our extraordinary fashion designers, we have neglect the kids and teenagers industry.
Recently report says that Nigeria fashion industry is worth around $10 billion out of 170 millions according last population censor report and it’s still growing according to business and analyst expert. The burning desire among parents, fashion pundits & enthusiasts and also the neglect of Africa culture lead to the birth of African Kids and Teens Fashion Week by game changer himself Ajibola Akande.
The first edition of African Kids and Teens Fashion Week, was held last year and it is a memorable event, but this year edition will features 8 designers, 48 kids/teenage super models and over a 100 designs according to the organiser of the fashion week.
This year edition will hold this weekend at the magnificent Mauve 21 event center, Adeoyo Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo state.
