Today May 29th marks as Democracy Day in our country calender and it also marks an historical day of change of power from one ruling party to the elected opposition party.
This week, Nigeria has undergone a rather challenging experience with fuel scarcity, no power supply, which led to various companies early closures and event postponements. We have watched fuel price rise from #87 to over #500 per litre.
We have all been affected one way or another. Nevertheless, we would like to encourage every Nigerian to not give up hope in the future and growth of this great Nation.
Yes it can be very very challenging, but according to the motto “Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress”, we as a people can help grow a Nation.
As a new President takes over today, remember, we are the change for Nigeria. Let us pray and play our parts.
Happy Democracy Day,
The GY Media team.
