Francesco Flachi
Former striker Francesco Flachi, who played for Serie A clubs Fiorentina, Sampdoria, Empoli, and Brescia between 1993 and 2010, returned to the game in February 2022 after serving a 12-year suspension.
In May 2007, the player was first suspended from football for 16 months, but this was later increased to two years. After being found guilty of possessing cocaine for the second time less than two years after his first suspension, he was banned again in June 2010, this time for a period of 12 years.
