The much-awaited biopic “Lisabi” starring Adedimeji Lateef has debuted, laying the groundwork for the first installment, “Lisabi: The Uprising,” which will debut on Netflix on September 27. “Lisabi: A Legend is Born,” the second installment, is scheduled for release in January 2025.
The captivating life story of Lisabi, a legendary character from Igbehin who originally came from the Itoku Egba hamlet, is told in “Lisabi.” He is renowned for leading the Egba people in their fight for freedom from the harsh reign of the Alaafin of Oyo, whose kingdom included most of Yorubaland.
Lisabi by Adedimeji Lateef, or Lisabi movie, features Nollywood movie, stars such as Femi Adebayo Salami, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Itele Yekini, Ibrahim Chattah, Juliana Olayode, Olumide Oworu, Mr Macaroni, Mo Bimpe, Eniola Ajao, Gabriel Afolayan, Liqouose Ajife, and Adedimeji Lateef himself.
