Nigerian pop singer Douglas Jack Agu popularly known as Runtown as settle his differences with his record label Eric Manny, owned by Prince Okwudili Umenyiora in an out-of-court fashion, with a new agreement having been reached.
Over the past few weeks, music star Runtown has been in a legal battle with label over contract breaches, emotional abuse and disrespect.
According to information disclosed to NET by sources, reveals that both parties have resolved to settle the case out of court with the help of the Olaniwun Ajayi law firm, following the court hearing on June 14, 2016 in New York.
‘”Runtown and Dilly agreed to settle out of court and Runtown will remain with the label for one more year but it’s now more of a partnership deal because it gives Runtown more control,’”a source said.
Further source also confirmed to NET that Runtown has also decided to float his own record label which he is calling ‘Power In The Music’ (PITM).
