Over the past few days, Nigeria Vice-President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has been heavily criticised on Twitter following the controversial comment he made during his recent interview on Channels TV, that the Nigerian tech eco-system is benefitting from his recent trip to the Google headquarters.
VP @ProfOsinbajo says the Nigerian tech eco-system is benefitting from his trip to the Google headquarters -“Already, we’ve seen the results. Today, Google announced its google station being available at the Muritala Mohammed Airport, Computer Village and few other public spaces” pic.twitter.com/nEBUyZ2WjR

Why did he have to say that is because Google announced the launching of free public wifi-service in Nigeria, at the second edition of Google For Nigeria event in Lagos.
I can’t stop talking about #GoogleForNigeria bcos everyone must be aware. Nigeria will be the 1st country in African Continent to receive Google’s free public WiFi service. 10M Nigerians will benefit frm this service in 200 stations. Digital economy in Nigeria is nearly possible. pic.twitter.com/CNFaYEmcJb

The controversial comment by Osinbajo didn’t go well among Nigerians as they beginning to questions what the role of his vice-president office stands for in the democratic system of government, and how they had lost hope in him as the person to change our philosophical-political ideology. Meaning that he’s gradually becoming part of the corrupts systems and the failed institution.
Dear Vice President Yemi Osinbajo @ProfOsinbajo how are you fighting corruption with the Minister in charge of money being accused of forgery and silence from you? https://t.co/X9RPQE4MDV

Another Twitter user goes as far as describing him as photo ops blogger VP.
Osinbajo is still a photo ops blogger VP.
If you don;t like it, go and chop konkiri.

People who said Sambo was a Ghost VP don’t want others to say Osinbanjo is a Vice President reduced to condolence visits and doing photoshoots with every other people who claims they’re a startup.
If you don’t geddifok.

It’s not like things are different but no, lets consider Osinbajo. He is doing photoshoots.
Praise da Lord!

Nigerians are not happy with the way Osinbajo is turning himself into part of this failed government.
Says the V.P of the President under whose watch unarmed Shia members were murdered, unarmed IPOB members were murdered, SARS is running riot on young people, court orders are flagrantly disobeyed, should I go on?
A Pastor. A SAN! 😂😂😂https://t.co/36IkIZGzZg

Oh, and this attempt to separate Osinbajo from the disgrace raggeddy rag of a Govt and make it seem like he is not part of them will not work.
If he doesn’t like what’s happening, he should resign, otherwise, he’s part of it, 100%. He’s part of the mess.

Osinbajo signed executive orders.Whats the implementation plan?
He got his committee to change the CAC Act. It hasnt been signed into law as his Baba hasn’t read the memo, and ear is paining that one.
These are the important things, but lets clap for he brought Google to Nigeria
