The returning officer of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Osun, has declared the yesterday election inconclusive.
The reason for the cancellation, according to the electoral body, is because the number of cancelled votes is higher than the margin between the two top candidates – Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party and Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress.
After several hours of waiting for the outcome of yesterday general election in Osun State, the state INEC returning officer has announced the election result between All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Senator Ademola Adeleke, Social Democratic Party (SDP) Iyiola Omisore and others.
