The University of Ibadan (Open and Distance Learning) started their 100/200 level examination yesterday across the Lagos and Ibadan centers.

According to eyes witness speaking exclusive to GY, reported that one student die in the Lagos center while 3 students also collapses in both Lagos and Ibadan centers due to the management of the school not be able to  provide adequate environment for the conducted of the examination.

The sources further says that in Ibadan center, Adebayo Akande Hall was the only provision made available by the management of the school for the students to have their exams which cannot contain over 6,000 students that filled the environment, while this leads to several commotion within students.

The hall have about 300 – 500 computers and during the examinations process some computers even did not work, which leads to some students unable to submit their exams.

After the died of one student in Lagos and the collapses of 3 student in both centers, the management of the school postponed the remain exams yesterday on till further notice.

About few weeks ago, the governor of Ibadan Abiola Ajimobi, commission multi-billion naira ICT building project in Sasa area, but the sources further says that the building was just commission by the governor of the state but all necessary equipment and facility is not available now.
