D’Banj to Launch Original Content In Partner With YouTube
Veteran Nigerian singer, music entrepreneur and founding Mo’Hits Records member, Dapo Oyebanjo, known as D’banj, is launching a new original series titled “Adventures of The Koko Master”, which be exclusively available on video streaming platform, Youtube.
The ” Emergence ” crooner D’banj made this revelation during the ongoing YouTube Week Bootcamp in Lagos, and the first episode of the soon to be released video content is titled “Tag Along.”
During the YouTube Week Bootcamp yesterday, D’banj was honored with a special ‘Silver Creator Award’ for hitting 100,000 subscribers on the video streaming platform, YouTube.
In July, D’banj is launching a new content series “Adventures of The Koko Master” with heavy backing from Youtube. Season 1 is titled “Tag Along.”
He is also releasing an album. Two early singles from the new project are titled ‘Cover e’ ft Slimcase, and ‘Shy’.

D’banj was a panelist at the “YouTube Week” where he shared the tips and tricks behind his impact in various sectors of the Nigerian economy through his multiple award-winning music career.
Gold Play Buttons are awarded to channels which have reached the one million subscriber mark, and Silver to those which have garnered 100,000 subscribers.
Yesterday, D’banj picked up a Silver Play Button in recognition of achieving 100,000 subscriptions to his YouTube channel, while Neptune3 Studios, 2Baba Idibia, Teni, and Adekunle Gold will be receiving similar awards during the course of the week. Flavour, whose channel has crossed the one million subscriber mark, will be picking up a Gold Play Button during the week.
