No politicians what dying for !!!
In the season of election in Nigeria, Legendary Africa and Nigeria Afro-pop singer Innocent Idibai, better know as 2face Idibia, has weight his own view on the viral topic of entertainers endorsing and receiving money from politicians as campaign fee for their respective political parties in Nigeria.
The ” Africa Queen ” crooner 2face take swipe on his fellow entertainers that are collection money from politicians.
The singer expressed his own view on the issue while addressing and also advising his fans said it will be foolish for anybody to die for any politician, because they cannot be trusted.
In his own words,
“I believe it is only fools that will say they’re fighting for one politician or the other. What I want people to know is that once the election results are announced, the politicians move on and continue their friendship. Meanwhile, those that killed themselves would have just died for nothing…Na something wey you get before you go miss (you can only miss something you own) Many of the Entertainers that collected money know themselves. When you do that, you’re already selling yourself short, and in a myopic way. The only reason why these politicians come to you is because you are made already.
However, I always say that nobody should criticize another person because of who they support. We should have respect for each others choice.” 2face you have spoken well.
It occurred that the ongoing 2015 election has been money broker for some of our entertainers, because celeb such Don Jazzy, Olamide, Banky-W, Flavour, MI Abaga, Ice Prince, Dammy Krane, Pasuma, Jide Kosoko, Toyin Aihmaku Johson, Ini Edo and many others collected money to campaign for their different politicians.
Over the years, 2face has been an advocacy for good governance and don’t be surprise seeing him contesting for any politicians office in the nearest future, but i think he has started his journey into political field now.
Maybe will can expert people like him or himself as lawmakers in 2019 general election in Nigeria.
