Just days ago, Nollywood actress and producer Omoni Oboli was served with court injunction which blocked the premiere of her ” Okafor’s Law ” project at several cinema nationwide.
The Wedding Party’s director Kemi Adetiba has learned from Omoni Oboli case, as she advised scriptwriter not to send her unsolicited scripts without some written legal protection to back it up.

She added, ‘I thoroughly understand the drive and hunger to break out, but you really shouldn’t send out finished scripts or film ideas without some written legal protection anyway. I appreciate it, but I delete as soon as I see the words ‘…this great idea/script.’ I have a first degree in law.. I ain’t playing with y’all.’
