Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari’s chief of staff, Abba Kyari, who reportedly died on Friday, 16th of April, has been finally laid to rest in Abuja, according to Islamic tradition.
Late Abba Kyari died on Friday at a private hospital in Lagos, from complications related to COVID-19 after a nearly month-long battle with the virus, after he returned from a diplomatic trip from Germany.
According to reports, Kyari was buried at exactly 11:20 a.m. at the military cemetery in Abuja’s Gudu neighborhood amidst tears from family members and supporters.
