After successful suspension of former CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, about few weeks ago by President Jonathan. Former Zenith Bank boss Godwin Emefiele, was appointed today as the new Governor of Nigeria Apex Bank, which was confirmed by the senate-house.
In a statement by Senate President David Mark, “Emefiele will ensure the prerequisite responsibilities of the central bank governor without fear or favour”.
Barely about few weeks ago, President Jonathan suspended Ex-CBN governor, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, due to mismanagement and mis conduct to the CBN act.
