Drake Appreciates Wizkid and Tekno For Inspiring His New Album ” Scorpion ”
Canadain-American rap star and Cash Money/Young Money Entertainment boss Drake released his sophomore album ” Scorpion ” yesterday, and he has shown props of appreciation to artistes who have inspired him in the body of works.
The ” God’s Plan ‘‘ star took to his Insta Story to reveals songs from different artistes that inspired his new album such as Brent Faiyaz’s Make Luv, Flipp Dinero’s Leave Me Alone, 03 Greedo’s Sweet Lady, Tekno’s Jogodo, Wizkid’s Soco; and albums like Biggie’s Life After Death and 2pac’s All Eyez.
He wrote:
“thank you to all the artists that inspired me on the studio drives.”
The two names that caught the attention of Nigerians are that of Tekno and Wizkid. Both Nigerian singers had good relationship with Drake.
He has worked with Wizkid on songs like One Dance, on Come Closer and on Ojuelegba remix while his relationship with Tekno has brought about series of pictures emerge online.
Tekno has been pictured with Drake in the studio, clubs and other locations with rumours of collaboration still in the air.
