There are silent battle between top Nigerian entertainment tabloid online — Nigerian entertainment Today brands the NET and Pulse Nigeria as Osagie Alonge, a top editor and one of influential entertainment journalist with the Adekunle Ayeni owned NET has part ways with platform he work as Chief Correspondent/Assistant Manager and Editor in Chief for 3 years for the relatively new Swedish family owned Nigerian entertainment website Pulse.ng.
Talented entertainment journalist Osagie Alonge, broke the news to his thousands of followers, but his decision shocked his followers who responded in disbelief, before going ahead to wish him well.
He has change his social media profile to Former Chief Correspondent/Assistant Manager, NET Newspaper LTD.
Few hours before his announcement , he make a calling statement in which i will quote below.
A good businessman must have the ability to recognise opportunities and provide some sort of ‘solution’, especially when there seems not to be one available at that moment.
This news is still as a shocker because will belief that Osagie, some little shares at NET, where he as act as main and front player in the online tabloid for the past 3 years. However the platform is own by top industry player Ayeni Adekunle, who also owned first PR agency BHM.
According to insider sources says that Osagie, might have hinted the NET team that is leaving for another company, it was widely speculated that he was secretly writing for another entertainment platform.

The insider sources furthers says Osagie was not happy with the minute share he owned with the NET which can only be transferred to him after a given number of years.
As of the time of writing this, neither Osagie Alonge, Adekunle Ayeni, Chris Ihindero (another top NET columnist) nor the people at pulse.ng have made a statement concerning the move.
