According to reports, a Nigerian father turned down enormous sum of money his 19-year-old son won through a virtual sports betting.

The lucky winner’s brother share this news on the anonymous messaging app NGL, saying their father is demanding that their sibling refund the N38 million to Sporty Bet.

He claims that the dad is adamantly opposed to everything related to gambling, which is why he won’t let his son keep the money because he knows it came from sports betting.

According to the anonymous brother, their house rent is due in the next few months, and his wife is upset over his decision to waste a blessing, which is generating troubles in their home.

He wrote; “My 19yr old kid bro won 38M with 450 naira and my dad is insisting he returns the money to sporty because he doesn’t support gambling despite explaining and showing him the slip, he’s still insisting. Our rent is due in two months, now it has caused issues between him and mum. Kindly advice.”
