But On Tuesday, November 4, 2014, Former vice-president Atiku Abubakar, was in Minna, Niger State on for the presidential declaration ambition of his fellow All Progressives Congress (APC) member and owner of Leadership newspaper, Sam Nda-Isaiah.
Ex vice president of Nigeria, Atiku used the opportunity to paid a special visit to former military head of state Ibrahim Babangida, who recently returned from a medical trip abroad.
The APC presidential aspirant was said to have run into his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo on his way out at the Minna airport, with both men exchanging warm pleasantries.
