JoeBoy leaves EMPAWA, Owned by Mr Eazi

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Joeboy is leaving the Mr. Eazi-owned EMPAWA after years of career highs. In an attempt to advance his career to the next level,

He has signed a dual agreement with Warner Music, the world’s largest music label (home to superstars like Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Burna Boy, Ckay etc).

As part of the new agreement, Joeboy will establish his own entertainment company, Young Legend, and become the latest African musician to be featured as a Warner Music flagship artist.

After five fruitful years, during which he put out two EPs (Love & Light and Body, Soul & Spirit), two albums (Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic and Body & Soul), and a slew of hit singles and features, Joeboy is leaving EMPAWA.
