The 32 years old American athlete Justin Gatlin, set a new world record today at the Golden Spike event in the eastern Czech city of Ostrava.
He set a new world record leading time of 9.86sec on the 100-metre track, to end the supremacy of Jamaican athlete Usain Bolt, who is recovering from a foot injury.
Gatlin, has run four times this season in which he has failed to end the record of Usain Bolt.
