Nigerian pop star Wizkid wins big at the just concluded MTV Africa Music Awards 2016, which was held yesterday night at the Ticket Pro Dome, Johannesburg, South-Africa.
The music pop star Wizkid wins ” Best Male ” , ” Artistes of the Year ” , ” Best Collaboration ( Feature ) “ and ” Best Hip-Hop ( Feature ). His recent feet made him to tie alongside with legendary Nigerian pop icon D’banj as biggest winner of award in one night. 
The Kokomaster D’banj was the first act to win four awards : ” Best Male Act ” , ” Artistes of the Year “, ” Listeners Choice “ and ” Best Video ( Feature ) “ at MAMA Awards 2008.
The ” Oluelegba “ crooner Wizkid join the likes of D’banj, 2baba and Davido to have won the ” Artistes of the Year “ award in MAMAs history, while D’banj is only artist in Africa to have won ” Artistes of the Year “ two straight year in (2008 & 2009) and also with most awarded artist in MAMAs in history.
Nigeria female pop star Yemi Alade also made history to becomes first female to have won ” Best Female Act “ in two consecutive year (2015 & 2016) in MAMAs history.
