American Rap mogul and entrepreneur Jay-Z has finally open ups on how he managed to fix his relationship with Beyonce, which was rumored to be on the brink of divorce weeks ago. Although, the Roc Nation boss addressed the issue on 4:44’s title track with the line: “ I apologize often womanize/ Took for my child to be born/ See through a woman’s eyes/ Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles/ Took me too long for this song/ I don’t deserve you.”
In a new interview with TV host Van Jones, which is exclusive to CNN, Jay-Z was asked why he chose to fight for his marriage, with the rapper responding that his wife was “my soulmate, the person I love.” Couples experiencing problems can either “address it or pretend until it blows up,” he added.
“For us, we chose to fight for our love. For our family. To give our kids a different outcome. To break that cycle for black men and women.” “We were never a celebrity couple—we were a couple that happened to be celebrities. We are real people.”
