Late yesterday night, Chocolate City boss and veteran Nigerian rap mogul M.I Abaga pulled a big surprise on his fans by releasing his 7th project called ” Rendezvous ”. Over the years, M.I has continued to show that he’s the leader of his generation when it comes to Hip-Hop music in Nigeria, and he keeps evolving with new ideas that will continue to cement his statue on the royal throne.
The black short choc boy called his latest project The Playlist, which is an experiment of different sounds from Neo-Sound, Trap music, R&B and others, to nurture his oldies fans into the new generation of waves era. The M.I‘s ” Rendezvous ” — The Playlist project is inspired by Canadian-American rap star Drake‘s 2017 ” More Life ” project, where he was seen to have experiment new different sounds in 22 tracks project.
The 15-track playlist consists of featuring from top acts like AKA, Cassper Nyovest, Wande Coal, Falz, Dice Ailes, Ajebutter, Moelogo, Nonso Amadi, Odunsi, Tomi Thomas and so much more.
As at the time of writing this report, the album is trending on social media, and also trending on the No.1 spot on iTunes with a lot of people commending M.I for his impeccable work on the project.
