Gradually Bukola Saraki trial at Code of Conduct Tribunal is getting worse everyday as Justice Danladi Umar ordered the day-to-day trial of embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki until judgment is delivered on the 13-count criminal charge pending against him.
“Let me state it here for both the prosecution and the defence that the trial of the defendant shall proceed on a day-to-day basis till the conclusion of this matter and it will begin from 10 AM to 6 PM,” he said.
He also added that the court would go on break at 1 PM and 4 PM on each day of the trial.
This development is following the move by the Senate to amend the Code of Conduct Bureau and Code of Conduct Tribunal Act.
