We don’t see it coming but Styl-Plus is making a huge comeback to into the Nigeria music scene.
In the early 2000’s music group Styl-Plus stole our heart with their music and also steal our heart with their separation, but according to report posted by SDK, says that Styl-Plus has signs multi-million naira lucrative deal with Eskimo Records.
The management at Eskimo Records made the surprise announcement, unveiling the Abuja-based duo as new signees under the label.
The music group name STYL-Plus was coined out of the first letters of the names of its founding members- Shifi Emoefe, Tunde Akinsanmi, Yemi Akinwonmi, Lanre Faneyi and Zeal Onyecheme who joined the group in 1998 after the demise of Lanre. However only the trio of Shifi, Tunde and Zeal came into the limelight when the group finally broke through in the early 2000s.
They are known for their hit songs such as ” Olufunmi ”, ” Runway ”, ” Call My Name ” and their debut album rocked all the airwaves but their sophomore album was not popular and also did not do well.
As we are happy for the comeback of Style-Plus, we also look forward to being serenaded by their beautiful voices of the remaining members of the group, even though we will miss Tunde’s smooth delivery
