The ADX-Florence prison in Colorado is meant to house the most dangerous inmates, many of whom are kept in near-round-the-clock solitary confinement.
Several detainees filed a complaint in June 2012.
According to the lawsuit, the prison’s circumstances create an environment conducive to inmate abuse and torture.
